Republican Congressman Eric Cantor has put the American “people on notice” regarding Social Security and Medicare entitlements.  If you are under 55, you need to “Come to grips with the fact, that promises have been made, that  frankly are not going to be kept for many”, Cantor told the Wall Street Journal.

In other words, if you are under 55, you are not going to get back all the money you paid into Social Security and Medicare.  Sorry.  “Don’t like it?”  Tough. “Get a grip.”

Basically, Cantor is admitting to the American people,  the government’s plans to rob their retirement accounts.  Every time you get a paycheck, a portion of that check is taxed, and the money is put into your Social Security and Medicare accounts.  You were taxed yesterday, and are being taxed today, to fund your retirement tomorrow.

The government does not want to pay you back your money.  They are breaking their promise.  They are robbing your retirements.  They are breaking the Social Contract.  It is taxation without representation.

It is the same thing as if the government were to go into your 401k account and take whatever they wanted.  The government is robbing the people!  How long can it go on before there is a retirement revolution in America?

Erica Cantor is not alone.  Republican House Majority Leader John Boehner thinks you should work until 70 to pay for war.  And, it’s not just the Republicans, who want to rob your retirement.  President Obama and the Democrats are equally involved in this nefarious plot.

Democratic Congressman John Conyers of Michigan revealed in a speech, that Republicans never demanded Social Security and Medicare cuts in the Debt Ceiling Debate, President Obama offered to sacrifice Social Security and Medicare without ever being asked.  Obama wanted to cut Social Security and Medicare  before he became president.

What is going on, is a coordinated, bi-partisan robbery of your retirement.  Both Wall Street bought and paid for political parties, the Republicans and Democrats, have teamed up to rob the American people.  And, they are not hiding their criminal conspiracy, they are letting you know publicly in advance.

It’s getting closer to the time, when the people will be forced to “get a grip” around the necks of the politicians, and shake them until the money they stole falls out of their pockets.

My retirement planning advice?  If you have reached the age of entitlement eligibility, Social Security and/or Medicare, you may want to seriously consider entering those programs now, and not wait for the politicians to rob you of them.  As Eric Cantor said in the interview, the government does not plan to screw current entitlement recipients, just future recipients.
