In a clear sign of how bad the economy the economy is becoming, it appears retirees have taken to robbing banks, in order to support themselves in retirement.   A man described as being in his seventies,  nicknamed the “Geezer Bandit” picture above, has robbed several banks in upscale La Jolla California.

Maybe after being robbed by banks during the great Wall Street Bailout, the “Geezer Bandit” decided to withdraw the bail-out money the government had transferred from him and every other Americanto the banks, during the great Bush/Obama Wall Street stimulus.   All jokes aside, the “Geezer Bandit” is in serious need of money for whatever reasons, and the police consider him armed and dangerous.

And if you know the “Geezer Bandit”, the police want you to know that you can boost your retirement savings $16,000, by turning in the “Geezer Bandit” and collecting the reward money.

You do not have to end up like the “Geezer Bandit, putting your life and others at risk, by robbing banks to support your retirement.   You can have a safe and secure retirement, without worrying about running out of savings during retirement, by creating a Green Retirement Budget.

Green Retirement calculates how much savings you need to retire, and then creates an annual spending budget, that virtually insures that you will not run out of savings during retirement.   You can find out how if you are spending too much or too little retirement savings by trying Green Retirement’s Free Retirement Calculators.   Retiring without first creating a retirement spending budget, places you at risk of running out of savings during retirement, and ending up like the “Geezer Bandit”.
