Green Retirement

I first read “Your Money or Your Life”, a self-help finance book, about ten years ago. It was instrumental in affirming, my evolution from a consumer to a human, and my desire to leave the rat race and retire. “Your Money or Your Life” did an excellent job of critiquing our culture of consumption, and explaining that well, there’s more to life than just money. It was, and still is, a very inspirational book. If you haven’t read it, most libraries should carry the book, or you can find a write-up here on Amazon.

However, even though “Your Money or Your Life” can serve to motivate you, to re-align your life priorities, it doesn’t show you how to get out - to retire. It lacks the how-to, or the science behind the philosophy, that will turn an idea into reality. And that is what I have tried to do, take the Green Retirement idea, and turn it into science.

Living simply, and pursuing life as opposed to money, is beneficial to you and the planet. The popularity of “Your Money or Your Life”, is testament to the fact that, many people come to this same realization. Now, withGreen Retirement, you have the tool to create that reality.
